With the engine arrival comes a new sense of excitement and a new list of things to do and buy. The engine detailing is impressive. I love the big angle valve cylinders. I look forward to cool cylinder temps and know that the book on this engine is higher than usual oil temps. I'll use two oil coolers mounted up front. The nose bowl is by HO Aircraft for their STC'd King Cub IO-390 installation as Back Country continues to work on their cowl. The HO fits the wider angle valve engine and will allow me to fashion a typical Cub cowl with easy access to the engine. At the moment I'm liking that idea but there's still work to do. I'll use a spline-driven B&C alternator and that oil adapter will have to get changed to a 90* version. The Vetterman exhaust fits perfectly. Fun, fun, fun!
